If art is Freedom, Then why is my canvas square?

It sickens me how even art, In all its forms, has to made my formulas for "popular consumerism"
Eg, Look at what 90% of the radio stations play,
Look at Twilight,
And look at people as they glare in disgust at art that confuses there simple minds.
Forces them to think for themselves, What a scary thought.
